Communication
Communication is a record of what's been announced to your congregation and who it reached.
Communication is a log, not a send tool. You announce things the way you already do, from the pulpit, over WhatsApp, by email, and then log it here afterward so there's one place to see what went out and to whom. It does not send messages on your behalf.
Logging an announcement
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Title | Required. |
| Message | Required. |
| Audience | All members, by status, a campus, a group, or a department. |
| Recipient count | How many people it reached. |
When you choose By status as the audience, you pick from Active members, Inactive members, or Visitors.
What the list shows
The Communication list shows how many announcements have been logged, your total reach across them, and the most recent entry, alongside the full history.
Campus-scoped access
Staff with campus-scoped communications access only see, and can only log, announcements addressed to their own campus's audience. See Roles & Access for how that scoping is assigned.
