Answers to common questions.

Task-oriented help for setting up and running your organization. For how each module works in depth, see the Documentation.

Getting Started

Reach out through Get Started with your church's name and size. Ecclora is currently rolled out to churches directly — we set up your organization and invite your first administrator by email.

Go to Settings → Users & Roles and invite by email. Each person needs at least one role, which controls what they can see and do, and can optionally be scoped to a single campus, group, or department instead of the whole organization.

They receive a welcome email with a link to set their password, along with a short personal note. Once they sign in, they land on the Dashboard.

There's no self-serve bulk import yet. If you're moving from a spreadsheet, reach out and we'll help you bring your existing records in.

Account & Security

Go to My Account and enroll using any standard authenticator app. Turning it on or off requires a fresh 6-digit code, not just an already-open session.

Use the "Forgot password?" link on the sign-in page. You'll get a reset email if an account exists for that address — we don't reveal whether it does or not, for security.

Go to My Account. Changing your password requires re-entering your current one first, and changing your email goes through a confirmation link sent to the new address.

No. Every organization's data is isolated at the database level, not just hidden in the interface, so it isn't reachable from another church's account by default and without exception.

Billing & Plans

Single Campus if you're one congregation getting organized, Growing Church as your team and operations scale, Multi-Campus if you're running more than one location. See Pricing for a full comparison.

Yes. Annual billing gives you the equivalent of two months free compared with paying monthly.

No. Your church connects its own supported payment provider through Ecclora's BYOK model, and provider processing fees remain separate and go directly to that provider.

BYOK means Bring Your Own Key. Your church connects its own payment-provider credentials, so the payment relationship stays directly between your church and the provider, not Ecclora.

Reach out to us and we'll move your organization to the right plan. There's no self-serve plan switcher yet.

A limited-time, one-time payment for lifetime access to Ecclora with no recurring subscription. See Pricing for details and current availability.

Troubleshooting

Church Administrator, the broadest standard role, deliberately excludes finance by default. An administrator needs a role like Finance Manager added separately to see giving.

Some roles are scoped, meaning access to members, attendance, giving, or communications can be limited to a single campus, group, or department instead of the whole organization. Ask your administrator what your role is scoped to.

Pastoral Care is a standalone role, not bundled with member or ministry access, even for broad administrative roles. It's assigned deliberately to whoever needs it.

Your organization is approaching its plan's storage quota. You'll get an email alert before you're blocked from uploading, and can free up space or talk to us about your plan's limit.

Your account has two-factor authentication enabled, and your current session hasn't completed that check yet. Enter the code from your authenticator app to continue.
